Know what is the whole matter
The Karni Sena staged a sit-in protest at the Khandwa bypass in Harda city against the police providing protection to the accused in the fraud case committed by an Indore businessman in the name of selling diamonds. This protest lasted for about 16 hours. The police resorted to water cannon, tear gas and finally lathicharge to remove the protesters.
The situation worsened so much that the police even entered the Rajput hostel and lathicharged, which spread anger in the entire state. About 60 people including the national president of the Karni Sena, Jeevan Singh Sherpur, were arrested by the police. After this entire incident, the opposition also raised questions on the state government.
