Earlier on July 15, apart from St. Thomas School, St. Stephen and Ramjas College of Delhi University also received similar threats. The police reached the spot and evacuated all the institutions and conducted an intensive search operation, but no suspicious object was found.

Similarly, Scientist Defence College located in North Campus of Delhi University received a threat via email at 7:15 am that RDX has been placed in the college and library and there is a plan to blow up the college with a bomb. The college administration immediately informed the police. The team of fire brigade, bomb squad and dog squad reached the spot and conducted a search operation in the entire college campus.

It is worth noting that a month ago also a bomb threat was given in the same college, when the students were present in the college. This time the college was on vacation, due to which only a few staff and guards were inside. Everyone was evacuated safely.
