Early Morning Raid at Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora’s Residence; ED Officials Arrive in 20 Vehicles

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate conducted an early morning raid at the residence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora. ED officials arrived in a convoy of approximately 20 vehicles. The raid took place at Sanjeev Arora’s residence in Sector-2, Chandigarh. According to reports, the raid operation commenced at 7:25 AM.

To ensure security, around three dozen personnel from the CIA and SF (Special Forces) were deployed. Meanwhile, reacting to the incident, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh remarked that the BJP’s “contract killer”—the ED—has once again arrived in Punjab today.

The raid at the residence of Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora has begun. Sanjay Singh stated that this “drama” would continue for two or three days, fake news stories would circulate, and then the “contract killers” would leave. Subsequently, they would be assigned a new task by their “master.”

Writing further on the social media platform ‘X’, Sanjay Singh asked, “Modi ji, how many more tactics will you employ to defame the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab and to obstruct the work being done for the people of Punjab?”

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Punjab is scheduled to hold a press conference at 10:00 AM. Commenting on the ED raid on ‘X’, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann wrote, “Today, once again, the BJP’s ED has visited Sanjeev Arora’s residence. This marks the third time in a year—and the second time in a single month—that the BJP’s ED has raided his home. Yet, they have found nothing.”

Bhagwant Mann further wrote, “I wish to tell Modi ji that Punjab is the land of the Gurus; even Aurangzeb could not make it bow down. This is the land of Bhagat Singh, who never bowed his head before the British; therefore, Punjab will never bow down before Modi’s machinations. Punjab will put an end to this unethical alliance between the ED and the BJP.”
