New Delhi: The Pahalgam terrorist attack has pushed the relations between India and Pakistan to the abyss. Meanwhile, Pakistan is on alert due to possible military action from India. In such a situation, India has dealt a big blow to Pakistan’s navigation system.

Sources say that India has deployed advanced jamming systems to disrupt the signals of the Global Navigation Satellite System being used by Pakistani army planes. These have been deployed on the western border.

India’s jamming system will disrupt satellite-based navigation platforms including GPS, GLONASS and Beidou. These platforms are being used by Pakistani army planes.

Earlier, India decided to close its airspace for Pakistani planes. India’s airspace for Pakistan will remain closed from April 30 to May 23.

Let us tell you that jamming system is a part of electronic warfare, which is designed to disrupt radio frequency signals. This sometimes confuses the enemy’s equipment by sending false signals.

These systems deployed by India are high frequency jamming systems, which are specifically designed to target GNSS signals used in military operations.

After the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, activities have intensified in many sectors of the LOC. The Indian Army is keeping a close watch on the situation and an operational alert has been issued in the border areas. Actually, after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian government is in action mode and is taking strict decisions on Pakistan. Meanwhile, tension is increasing on the Line of Control.
