
Indore: The death of 16 people in Bhagirathpura, Indore, due to contaminated water has now taken a serious political turn. Former minister and Congress veteran Sajjan Singh Verma, who visited the area on Saturday, launched a direct attack on Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya. During this time, there was a huge commotion in the area, and BJP workers showed black flags to Sajjan Singh Verma and chanted “Go back.”

Speaking to the media, Sajjan Singh Verma launched a scathing attack on Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya. He said: “The public elected him with great faith, considering him God-like, but he turned out to be the Lord of Death. The deaths in Bhagirathpura are the most tragic incident to date, and the administration and the ruling party are directly responsible for it.”

Questioning the administration’s actions, Sajjan Singh Verma said that merely removing the municipal commissioner is not enough; a criminal case (FIR) should be registered against him. He announced that in protest against this incident, on January 4, Congress workers will go to the homes of all BJP leaders, big and small, in the city and ring bells and gongs to wake up the sleeping administration.

The Congress delegation made it clear that they demand a judicial inquiry into the matter. Sajjan Singh Verma said that Congress will not remain silent until strict action is taken against those responsible for the deaths of innocent people.
