Lucknow RSS office reconnaissance, attack plan… Major revelations about ISIS terrorists arrested in Gujarat

November 10, 2025

New Delhi: The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad, in a joint operation with central agencies, arrested three ISIS-linked terrorists from Ahmedabad yesterday. These terrorists were plotting major terrorist attacks in Gujarat and across the country. It has now been revealed that the terrorists had conducted reconnaissance of the RSS office in Lucknow and the Azadpur Mandi in Delhi.

The arrested accused have been identified as Azad Suleman Sheikh, Mohammad Suhail, and Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed. According to sources, these terrorists were conducting reconnaissance of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office in Lucknow and the crowded Azadpur Mandi in Delhi. Both locations were selected as potential targets for a terrorist attack.

Investigation has revealed that Sheikh and Suhail collected weapons from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, and hid them in a graveyard in Gandhinagar. Meanwhile, Hyderabad resident Mohiuddin was supposed to return with the weapons, but the Gujarat ATS acted in time and arrested Mohiuddin on Friday night. Four foreign-made pistols, 30 cartridges, and 40 liters of castor oil were recovered from him.

Terrorists’ Mobile Records Revealed
Examination of Mohiuddin’s mobile phone revealed the contacts of two of his associates and the activities of the entire module. Following this, the ATS arrested the two other terrorists.

According to Gujarat ATS DIG Sunil Joshi, “Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed is a highly educated individual, having completed his MBBS from China. He was in contact with Abu Khadim, a member of ISIS-Khorasan Province, who tasked him with raising funds and conducting recruitment drives for anti-India activities.”

Mohiuddin was preparing a toxic substance from cyanide
Police have also received information that Mohiuddin was attempting to prepare a toxic substance from cyanide. The ATS is currently investigating how the weapons were supplied and where other sleeper cells associated with this network are active.
