MP: New faces may join Mohan Yadav’s cabinet… Rumours of cabinet reshuffle intensify

Bhopal. Rumours of major changes in the Madhya Pradesh cabinet have intensified. Following the visit of CM Mohan Yadav and the state president to Delhi, speculation is rife that several prominent ministers may be removed from the cabinet, and new or old faces may be appointed in their place. While it is too early to give a specific date for when this will happen, it is estimated that these changes may be seen after the completion of the Rajya Sabha elections.

CM Yadav met with top leaders
It is reported that during his visit to Delhi, CM Mohan Yadav met with top party leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President Nitin Navin. It is being said that cabinet reshuffles were also discussed in those meetings, following which various speculations began in the media about who would be dropped and who would get a chance.

State in-charges to be announced…
It is being speculated that state in-charges will also be announced in some states after the Rajya Sabha elections. Consequently, it is being speculated that senior and experienced cabinet leaders may be removed from the government and given important organizational responsibilities. Assembly elections are due in several states in the near future, where they may be assigned responsibility.

Experienced leaders may be given charge in other states.
For example, Kailash Vijayvargiya has been given a chance in the Bengal elections, while Haryana’s Narendra Singh Tomar, who was in-charge of Punjab, has also taken charge. There are also discussions about the benefits of the MP model in the excellent performance in the Bihar elections. Consequently, many senior leaders from the state play a key role at the organizational level, which will play a significant role in the upcoming elections.

Veteran leaders like Kailash Vijayvargiya, Prahlad Patel, Rakesh Singh, and Uday Pratap Singh have been involved in Madhya Pradesh politics for a long time. They have gained considerable experience. Therefore, it is possible that the party may assign them responsibility in other states to further utilize their experience.

When could the change occur?
No specific date has been revealed for the timing of the change, but it is estimated that this reshuffle could occur after the Rajya Sabha elections are completed by the end of March. Since local body elections are scheduled for 2027, any changes will be made with the elections in mind to ensure representation for all sections of the society. Therefore, no word yet on who will be included and who will be excluded.

It is reported that a report on the state’s ministers and MLAs has also been prepared, which has been submitted to the high command. Based on this, a decision can be made regarding which ministers’ performance is not satisfactory. Those who perform well and have close ties with the high command may receive a chance.
