New Delhi: Actress Tina Ahuja appeared visibly uncomfortable when questioned about the ongoing controversy surrounding her parents, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, and Govinda’s alleged closeness with his Rupa co-star Komal Rani Sarvankar.
At a recent event, a reporter began asking Tina about Komal’s alleged social media comments concerning her mother. Before the question could be completed, Tina interrupted and responded sharply, “Is this all we are going to talk about here? Thank you.” She then walked away from the interaction.
Although Tina maintained a smile while leaving the stage, her reaction suggested that she was not keen to discuss the family controversy publicly. She did not comment on the allegations involving Komal, nor did she publicly take sides in the dispute.
The controversy has intensified in recent months amid reports about Govinda and Komal Rani’s growing professional association. Komal is set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Govinda in Rupa, and their public appearances have sparked speculation about the nature of their relationship.
The situation gained further attention after the duo were seen together during a visit to Lalbaugcha Raja, with reports also focusing on Komal’s appearance and her alleged use of sindoor. These developments have fueled speculation on social media.
Sunita Ahuja has reportedly made strong allegations concerning Komal, while Komal has denied any romantic involvement with Govinda and maintained that their relationship is strictly professional. She has also said that her public appearances with the veteran actor are connected to the promotion of Rupa.
Several celebrities, including Kashmera Shah, Divya Khosla and Rakhi Sawant, have also commented on the controversy, adding further public attention to the ongoing family drama.
For now, Tina’s brief but firm response makes one thing clear: she appears unwilling to turn her family’s personal matters into a public discussion.
