Trump angered by delays in Russia-Ukraine peace agreement, says “Too many meetings, now I want results”

Washington: US President Donald Trump is furious over the delays in reaching a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. He stated unequivocally that there have been too many meetings, and now he only wants results. The White House said in a statement that President Trump is deeply disappointed with the slow progress towards ending the Russia-Ukraine war. He is no longer willing to participate in meetings just for the sake of having meetings.

The President wants results, not just talk.” It is worth noting that the US has been playing the role of a mediator to end the four-year-long war. Several rounds of meetings have been held regarding this, but no agreement has been reached on a peace settlement. Carolyn Leavitt said that Trump is deeply disappointed with both sides of this conflict. He wants this war to end.

‘Continued war could trigger World War III’
The US, giving a strong indication that the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine could escalate into a global war, said that such events could ultimately lead to a third world war. Trump said that 25,000 people were killed in this war last month, most of them soldiers. He expressed deep disappointment over the continued bloodshed and reiterated his efforts to end the war immediately.
