Ujjain. A heartbreaking incident occurred on Monday at Ujjain’s world-famous Mahakal Temple, shocking everyone. A devotee who had come to attend the Bhasma Aarti died of a heart attack. Significantly, just before his death, the deceased had written a philosophical post on his WhatsApp status, which is now being considered a “premonition of death.”
Saurabhraj Soni, a resident of Ujjain’s Parshvanath City, ran a tea shop. Like every Monday, Saurabhraj arrived at the temple around 1:00 a.m. on Diwali to participate in Baba Mahakal’s Bhasma Aarti.
Before he could have darshan of the deity, he suffered a heart attack and fell unconscious at Gate No. 1. His companions and temple staff immediately rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Saurabhraj Soni bid farewell to the world in the Lord’s court.
Final Status Becomes a Topic of Discussion
Saurabhraj Soni’s family and friends say that he had already sensed his death. Before his death, he wrote on his WhatsApp status: “The body is made of clay, breaths are borrowed, the heart belongs to Mahakal, we are just tenants.”
Saurabhraj’s visit to the Mahakal Temple every Monday to participate in the Bhasma Aarti reflects his unwavering faith.
