UP: BJP Woman Leader Levels Serious Allegations Against District President; Alleges Pressure for Sexual Favors in Exchange for Vice-President Post

Mahoba | A major stir erupted within the ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district when former District Secretary Dipali Tiwari leveled extremely serious and grave allegations against District President Mohanlal Kushwaha. Dipali claims that she was subjected to unethical pressure to engage in sexual relations in exchange for the position of District Vice-President. Meanwhile, the District President has outright rejected these allegations, terming them a conspiracy to tarnish his image. In connection with the matter, Dipali Tiwari has submitted a written complaint against the District President.

In fact, the internal feud brewing within the Bharatiya Janata Party in Mahoba has now spilled out openly onto the streets and social media platforms. There had been murmurs of discontent within the party ever since the formation of the new district executive committee; however, a Facebook Live session conducted by former District Secretary Dipali Tiwari has transformed these murmurs into a major political storm. Dipali Tiwari has directly accused District President Mohanlal Kushwaha of pressuring her to engage in sexual relations in exchange for a party position.

Dipali Alleges Expulsion from Party for Refusing to Comply

Dipali states that when she approached the District President regarding the post of District Vice-President, he presented her with a condition that left her utterly shocked. It is alleged that the District President proposed that she accompany him to Delhi and Lucknow, and threatened to remove her from her post—or even expel her from the party—if she refused to comply. The matter did not end there. Dipali further alleged that two other senior party office-bearers—the District General Secretary and another District Vice-President—were also pressuring her to accede to the District President’s demands.

Speaking emotionally, she stated that she had been dedicated to the party for years; however, her patience finally snapped when she was threatened that her husband would be framed and sent to jail in a false rape case. Consequently, she felt compelled to share her ordeal with the public via a Facebook Live broadcast. Following this, Dipali Tiwari visited the SP (Superintendent of Police) office and submitted a formal written application detailing the entire matter to the Police Superintendent. In her complaint, she alleged that Mohanlal Kushwaha had behaved inappropriately with her. She claimed that he had demanded sexual favors from her. Upon her refusal, she was subjected to threats; consequently, she has approached the SP’s office to lodge a formal complaint regarding the entire incident.

District President Dismisses Allegations
On the other hand, following these allegations, BJP District President Mohanlal Kushwaha has adopted a defensive stance. He has termed all the accusations as completely baseless and fabricated. Mohanlal Kushwaha asserts that there is not an iota of truth in the allegations being circulated on social media, describing them merely as an attempt to tarnish his reputation. He has vehemently condemned and refuted these accusations.

It is worth noting that Deepali Tiwari has already resigned from her post; however, the grave allegations leveled by her have sent shockwaves through the political landscape of Mahoba. While internal strife within the BJP has reached a critical point, the opposition has also found a major issue to corner the ruling party. It now remains to be seen what action the party high command will take in this matter.
