New Delhi. India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently had a telephonic conversation, in which both sides discussed the role of cooperation in maintaining regional stability and peace. During this conversation, NSA Doval made it clear to China, “War is not an option for India and it is not in the interest of any party.”
According to the statement, Wang Yi condemned terrorism. He particularly strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Palgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which heavy damage was caused to Indian security forces. Ajit Doval said in this conversation that this attack has dealt a severe blow to the Indian security forces, in response to which India will have to take necessary security action.
Hope for peace in the region as soon as possible!
NSA Doval made it clear in the talks that India does not want to move towards war as it is not in anyone’s interest. He also said that both India and Pakistan are committed to maintaining ceasefire between them and hope to establish peace and stability in the region as soon as possible.
India-Pakistan are also neighbors of China!
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that it is very important to maintain peace and stability in Asia in the current unstable global scenario. He said that India and Pakistan are not only neighbors, but both are also neighbors of China, so regional peace is possible only through dialogue and cooperation between the three countries. Wang Yi appreciated Doval’s statement in which he said that war is not an option for India.
Wang Yi encouraged both India and Pakistan to ensure ceasefire permanently through dialogue. He also said that this is not only in the interest of both countries but is also a shared expectation of the international community.
