New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received wishes from around the world on his birthday. Numerous heads of state, athletes, and film stars congratulated him on turning 75. One such wish from Pakistan is interesting. This birthday message features a photo of PM Modi with the S-400 missile defense system.
PM Modi had this photo taken at the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab, shortly after Operation Sindoor. Former cricketer Danish Kaneria is the Pakistani who wished PM Modi a unique birthday.
Danish Kaneria posted on Instagram, writing, “Heartiest birthday wishes to Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. May God grant you good health, strength, and continued success in leading India to peace and prosperity.”
This post by former cricketer Danish Kaneria has been viewed by over 500,000 people. Danish Kaneria is one of Pakistan’s prominent Hindus and frequently criticizes the Pakistani government for its anti-terrorism policies. His choice of an image of the S-400 to congratulate PM Modi has symbolic significance.
On May 7, 2025, when India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam attack, the S-400 missile defense system played a major role. This missile acted as a shield for India.
One of Pakistan’s dozens of lies during Operation Sindoor was about the S-400. Pakistan claimed that it had damaged the S-400 at the Adampur Airbase by firing hypersonic missiles from JF-17 Thunder jets.
To expose Pakistan’s lies, PM Modi arrived at the Adampur Airbase on May 13th and met with the soldiers there. The S-400 was found intact. A photo of PM Modi with the S-400 in the background went viral at the time. PM Modi shared these photos with his ex.
Danish Kaneria has once again exposed Pakistan by wishing PM Modi a happy birthday with this very photo. It should be noted that India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7th in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22nd, killing hundreds of Pakistani terrorists. A ceasefire was declared between the two countries on the evening of May 10th at Pakistan’s request.
