10 crore devotees will come on Mauni Amavasya in Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj. A crowd of devotees is gathering before Mauni Amavasya in the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. On the occasion of Mauni Amavasya on January 29, a flood of devotees has started coming to Prayagraj to take a holy dip in Triveni Sangam. Officials said that with the approach of Amavasya, the crowd of pilgrims has increased in the city.

People are coming to Prayagraj from the country and abroad to take a dip in Sangam. Due to which the railway stations, bus stops and highways of the city are full of pilgrims. Officials said that more than 1.25 crore devotees took bath in Triveni Sangam on Friday and Saturday. According to the officials, about 10 crore devotees are expected to take a dip in the Sangam on Mauni Amavasya.

Extensive arrangements have been made by the administration
The fair administration and the police have made extensive preparations so that the devotees coming to Prayagraj do not face any kind of problem. To maintain order in the Mahakumbh, the fair area has been declared a no-vehicle zone. Also, special arrangements have been made in all sectors and zones to facilitate the movement of devotees.

All parking areas have been activated and basic facilities are being taken care of for the devotees. A statement issued said that vehicles will first be sent to the nearest parking areas. After the parking is full there, the vehicles will be sent to alternative parking areas.

Special protocol will not be applicable
Giving information about the Mahakumbh preparations, the officials said that no special protocol will be applicable during ‘Amrit Snan’ to give priority to public convenience. At the same time, the administration has also activated The Integrated Control and Command Center to maintain order.

Two thousand signage boards have been installed
More than two thousand new signages have been installed in the Maha Kumbh area to guide the devotees in the right direction. Also, devotees are being encouraged to download the official chatbot of the fair, which will help make their journey more convenient.
