Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend 3 hours and 30 minutes in Ayodhya.
The auspicious time for hoisting the flag in Ayodhya is from 11:58 am to 12:30 pm. He also observed a fast during the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav. The flag hoisting ceremony will be preceded by a road show by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His road show will take place on the approximately one-kilometer-long Rampath from the Saket College helipad in Ayodhya to the Ram Temple. During PM Modi’s road show, approximately 5,000 women from various self-help groups will welcome the Prime Minister with traditional thali (plates) and aarti (aarti).
Preparations are in full swing to welcome the Prime Minister. The one-kilometer Rampath route has been divided into eight zones. Hundreds of women will stand in each zone in traditional attire, carrying thali (plates), aarti (aarti), and garlands. The largest number of women, 1,500, will be deployed in Zone 8 (the land of the Khatik community), and 1,200 in Zone 4 (near the Arundhati parking lot).
Thousands of saints will also greet the Prime Minister with Vedic chants, conch blowing, and the sound of bells and gongs. Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta and senior BJP leader Kamlesh Srivastava have met with the Mahants of major temples, including the Rangmahal Temple, Jagatnath Temple, and Amawan Temple, and specially invited them.
The Health Department has set up temporary medical camps at seven locations in Ayodhya Dham. Shri Ram Hospital, Medical College, and District Hospital have been placed on high alert. All medical staff have been suspended from leave. The Rampath and all routes from the airport to Ayodhya Dham have been decorated. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also arrive in Ayodhya Dham between 2 and 3 pm.
