Patna: Before the start of the Bihar Assembly’s budget session, Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav was taken to the Central Hall of the legislature in a wheelchair. The RJD clarified the situation regarding his health, stating that Tejashwi Yadav had injured his foot and is currently recovering.

Tejashwi’s toenail was torn off
The Rashtriya Janata Dal shared some pictures on social media to provide information. The party wrote in a post, “Tejashwi Yadav’s toenail was torn off after he tripped on January 25.” The RJD posted on its official Facebook page that he is under the care of doctors and is gradually recovering.

Bihar Assembly’s budget session begins
Meanwhile, the Bihar Assembly’s budget session is starting today, February 2nd. On the first day of the session, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will jointly address the members of both houses in the Central Hall of the extended building of the Assembly. Tomorrow, February 3rd, Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav will present the budget for the year 2026-27. This session of the Assembly will continue until February 27th.
