New Delhi: Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav ahead of the elections. He took a dig at Akhilesh Yadav regarding an incident that occurred in Patapur, Mau.
Om Prakash Rajbhar accused members of the Samajwadi Party of disrupting a religious ritual performed by women from the Rajbhar community. Posting on X, Rajbhar criticized the Samajwadi Party chief, alleging that Samajwadi Party goons attempted to run their vehicle over the Rajbhar women while they were engaged in worship.
Rajbhar stated that while political battles should be fought against him, targeting women from the Rajbhar community is wrong. He warned bluntly that if Samajwadi Party members did not stop such incidents, the consequences would be dire, asserting that the Rajbhar community would not be intimidated or suppressed by anyone.
Taking aim at Akhilesh Yadav, O.P. Rajbhar said that Akhilesh has a problem with him because he exposes the truth about him. He claimed this is the reason why Akhilesh and his supporters hold a grudge against the Rajbhar community.
Taunting Akhilesh, he said, “You and your ‘Chachchu’ (uncle) have given the green signal to your goons to engage in hooliganism.” He remarked that Samajwadi Party members seem to believe their government is about to come to power, which is why they are creating such havoc; he advised Akhilesh to rein them in.
In a sharp tone, O.P. Rajbhar criticized Akhilesh Yadav, stating that if a fight is to be fought, it should be a political one, and targeting women in this manner is unbecoming.
