Congress’ demand – Prime Minister should also come to the meeting
Regarding the all-party meeting called by the government after Operation Sindoor, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has said that this time the Prime Minister should come. He has said that we had also appealed to the Prime Minister on April 24 to attend the all-party meeting. Then he did not come to the meeting. Jairam Ramesh informed about the participation of the party’s national president and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on behalf of the Congress in this meeting.
Pawan Khera said that we want the Prime Minister to be in the meeting. Such a message should go that the PM is discussing with the entire opposition by sitting together. He said that when the country speaks in one voice, the world will have to listen. Pawan Khera also said that Pakistan is attacking innocent people in Poonch. They are attacking Gurudwaras. This is the difference between the two countries. We are attacking terrorist hideouts and Pakistan is attacking our innocent people.
It is worth noting that a day before the all-party meeting, a meeting of the Congress Working Committee was held. After this meeting, both Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, while saluting the bravery of the army, said that we are with the army and the government. Congress President Kharge had said that there are no differences on this issue. We will fight unitedly.
