Vadodara: India has made it clear that the zero tolerance policy on terrorism will work and the enemy country will be given a befitting reply. Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar’s gave a big statement in Vadodara, Gujarat and said, we will never bow down to nuclear blackmail. Whatever decisions are to be taken in the national interests of India, they have been taken and will continue to be taken. The masters of terrorism will have to pay a big price.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said that decisions related to India’s national interests are taken without pressure and will be taken in future as well. The Foreign Minister was addressing the convocation ceremony of foreign students at a private university in Vadodara, Gujarat. During this, he said in clear words about the country’s security policy, we will never succumb to nuclear blackmail. Whatever decisions related to India’s national interests are necessary, they have been taken and will continue to be taken.

This statement of S. Jaishankar has come at a time when there is anger in the country over the recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, recently an attempt was made to destroy the tourism economy of Jammu and Kashmir and the intention to spread religious hatred was also seen. The barbarity of these killings demanded an exemplary answer and that answer was given.

The Foreign Minister made it clear that those who nurture terrorism and use it for their own interests will now have to pay a big price. Even after the 26/11 attack in Mumbai, it was clear that a strict response is necessary for such acts. But now times have changed and our commitment is stronger than ever.

He bluntly said that the centers of terrorism are no longer untouched. India’s policy of ‘zero tolerance towards terrorism’ is visible today through its concrete steps.
