India alliance’s online meeting tomorrow, strategy will be made regarding monsoon session…

New Delhi. The constituent parties of the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (INDIA) will have an online meeting on Saturday. In this, a common strategy for the monsoon session of Parliament and the current political situation of the country will be discussed. However, the Aam Aadmi Party said that it is no longer a part of the India Alliance. TMC has officially cited preparations for its annual party event. TMC said that its leaders are busy preparing for the July 21 rally which is organized to commemorate the death of 13 people in police firing during the Left rule in Kolkata in 1993. But, party insiders say that the real reason is to give a message to its workers ahead of the West Bengal elections. A TMC MP said, ‘We cannot share the stage with Congress and Left parties again and again as elections are to be held in our state next year, where we are against them. We support the alliance on national issues.’

Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal gave this information. He posted on Twitter, ‘A meeting of the leaders of the India Alliance parties will be held online on July 19 at 7 pm to discuss the current political situation in the country.’ Earlier this meeting was to be held at 10 Rajaji Marg, the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The meeting of the leaders of the India Alliance is being held after a long time.

Why was the digital meeting called?
Sources say that due to the unavailability of some prominent leaders, this meeting has been called through digital medium and in the coming days, the meeting can also be held in the presence of the leaders together. Sources said that a major reason for the online meeting is that there is a Trinamool Congress rally in Kolkata on Saturday and in such a situation, its prominent leaders will not be available in Delhi for the next few days. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav had said in Patna earlier in the day that a meeting of the India Alliance has been called on Saturday. Sources said that a major reason for the online meeting is that Trinamool Congress has a rally in Kolkata on July 21 and in such a situation its main leaders will not be available in Delhi for the next few days.

Discussion on many issues including SIR and Pahalgam
Congress sources said that the Special Intensive Review (SIR) in Bihar, the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the sudden stoppage of Operation Sindoor, US President Donald Trump’s claims of mediation and some other topics will be discussed in the meeting. Sources associated with the opposition say that there can also be a discussion on the possibility of the ruling party bringing an impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma. An attempt can be made to decide the opposition’s stand on this.

Monsoon session will start from 21st July
Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal had said on Sunday that the opposition should not support any move of the government to bring a motion of impeachment against Justice Yashwant Verma, until the investigation under impeachment proceedings is ensured regarding the communal remarks of Justice Shekhar Yadav. Justice Verma has been embroiled in controversies after the fire incident in his residential premises and burnt bundles of notes were found there. Sources said that the prominent leaders of the constituent parties of the opposition alliance will attend this meeting. The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on 21st July and will continue till 21st August.
