White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt shared President Trump’s message and said, “There is a possibility that talks with Iran may or may not take place in the near future. On this basis, the President will take a decision in the next two weeks.”

Levitt further said that Trump is always in favor of diplomatic solution. He said, “He is a supporter of peace. He believes in the principle of ‘peace through strength’. If there is a possibility of diplomacy, the President will definitely adopt it.” However, he also said, “But if there is a need to show strength, he will not back down from it.”

This statement has come at a time when a report in the Wall Street Journal said that President Trump has supported the plan to attack Iran, but he has not yet given the final order. He wants to see whether Iran stops its nuclear program or not.
