Mumbai. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Thursday targeted opposition parties on the occasion of the party’s foundation day. During this, he even called those who questioned Operation Sindoor, launched by India after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, ‘traitors’. He has also called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a Pakistani agent. At the same time, Shinde has accused Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning Hindutva.

Eknath Shinde had come to address the program organized on the occasion of the party’s foundation day celebrations at the NSCI Dome in Worli. During this, Shinde said, “We are proud of Operation Sindoor. These people doubt our army, they do not trust our army. They trust the army chief of Pakistan. Instead of saluting the bravery of our soldiers, they are asking about the damage to our weapons. Raising such questions is equal to treason. Rahul Gandhi and his party people are working like Pakistani agents.” He further said that those questioning the Indian Army are speaking the language of Pakistan and they want awards from Pakistan. Shinde said, “Those who are questioning our armed forces and asking how many jets we lost, why are you speaking the language of Pakistan? Do you want a certificate of recognition or reward from Pakistan?” Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at Shinde During this, Shinde also targeted Uddhav Thackeray. He accused Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning Hindutva. Notably, both Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde addressed rallies of their parties in Mumbai to celebrate the 59th foundation day of Shiv Sena, founded by Bal Thackeray in 1966. The event of Shinde-led Shiv Sena was held at the NSCI Dome in Worli, while the rally of Shiv Sena (UBT) was held at Shanmukhanand Hall in Sion area.

Eknath Shinde said during the rally, “On one hand, those who compromised on Hindutva for power are organizing a program, while we are organizing a program here based on the ideology of late Balasaheb Thackeray.” Accusing the UBT faction of abandoning Hindutva and Thackeray’s legacy, he said, “They are running here and there for alliances. They are pleading, ‘Please form an alliance with us. When elections are near, they suddenly remembered Hindutva and Marathi Manush. This is only their hypocrisy.”
