
Ujjain: Thieves have carried out a major theft in the SBI bank branch in Mahananda Nagar, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The miscreants fled after stealing jewellery worth about 2 crores and cash worth 8 lakhs from the bank branch. After getting information about this theft, there was a stir in Ujjain police. At the same time, two miscreants have been captured in the CCTV footage while carrying out the theft. It is being told that the stolen jewellery is the jewellery of gold loan kept in the bank. At present, the police has started searching for the thieves on the basis of CCTV.
In the case of theft in the SBI bank of Mahananda Nagar, Ujjain, it is coming to light that the lockers of the bank have not been broken and the locks have been opened. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the top police officials reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Looking at the theft incident done by opening the lock in the bank, the police suspect that there may be an insider involved in carrying out this theft.
At present, the police team is investigating on the spot and is engaged in interrogation. In this case, Ujjain SP Pradeep Sharma says that the thieves have committed the theft by opening all the locks, some insider may also be involved in this. In the morning, when the employees and the manager reached the bank, the locks of the bank were found open. The matter is being investigated.
After the theft, it has come to light that the miscreants who attacked the bank have stolen the jewellery kept in the bank for gold loan. This jewellery belonged to those people who had taken gold loan from the bank. During the investigation, it has come to light that during the theft incident, the miscreants did not open the bank locker. In this case, the police has started interrogating all the employees of the bank. Apart from this, the police team has got the CCTV footage of the incident. On the basis of that, they are engaged in identifying the theft.
