‘Kargil Heroes Will Forever Inspire India’: PM Modi’s Emotional Tribute in Mann Ki Baat

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces while recalling the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas during the 136th episode of his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat.

Describing Kargil Vijay Diwas as a symbol of national pride, the Prime Minister said the occasion fills every Indian with deep respect and gratitude for the courage, valour, and supreme sacrifice of the soldiers who defended the nation during the 1999 Kargil War.

He said the day serves as a powerful reminder of the unwavering determination and bravery displayed by India’s armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty under the most challenging circumstances.

PM Modi further emphasised that the extraordinary courage and selfless dedication of the Kargil heroes will continue to inspire generations of Indians, urging citizens to always honour the sacrifices made by the nation’s brave soldiers.
