Students found this big mistake in the 10th paper, education board also accepted it

New Delhi: A big mistake has come to light in the Odisha Board 10th Science paper, which was discovered by a student and a teacher after the paper was distributed in the examination room. The Odisha Board of Secondary Education has also accepted the mistake in the Science question paper of the 10th class board exam.

In fact, the 10th Science paper was conducted at 3,111 centers in Odisha on Saturday. After the Science paper was distributed in the examination room, students and teachers caught a mistake in the paper. The Science Set-C paper was 96 marks instead of 100 marks. However, the other three sets included full marks questions.

In this case, Odisha Board (BSE) Chairman Srikant Tarai promised that appropriate corrective action would be taken to prevent discrimination against students. A four-mark question was missing in the Set-C paper. The board is investigating it and the students will not suffer any loss due to this mistake. He said, “Appropriate steps will be taken while evaluating.”

The board has not yet said how this mistake will be corrected, but has assured the examinees that their performance will not be negatively affected due to this discrepancy. 11 students were caught cheating while appearing for the science paper. Their case will be decided by the disciplinary committee, which will determine the action against such students.
