Changur Baba used to target some ‘special’ women, has converted more than 1500 girls from Hindu to Muslim

Lucknow: One by one stories of Changur Baba, accused of conversion, are being revealed. Now he has been identified as the mastermind of a vicious conversion gang, which not only made thousands of women its victims, but also hatched a deep conspiracy to establish an organized Islamic Dawa network. Changur Baba and his close aide Neetu Rohra alias Nasreen have been handed over to ATS on 7-day remand. According to the information received by ATS, Changur has converted about one and a half thousand women and girls. These included childless, widow, forsaken, and mentally weak women. He would first trap them in the name of shelter, miracles and treatment, then slowly brainwash them and eventually force them to change their religion. Even now there are many people who consider him ‘Peer’, ‘Ruhani Baba’ and ‘Messiah’, and despite the revelations of ATS, they are not ready to speak against him.

Two years ago also a case was filed against relatives

If police and ATS sources are to be believed, he had already worked on the entire plan of building a ‘Dawa Kendra’ on the India-Nepal border. Funding for this had also started coming from abroad. Not only this, under his leadership some followers and relatives had also started public programs of adopting Islam in many cities. Two years ago in Azamgarh a case was also filed against some of his relatives for illegal conversion.

Things used to come from Dubai, Baba was involved in foreign hobbies
The mansion of Changur Baba located in Balrampur which was razed to the ground was no less than a palace. When the officers arrived for investigation, the items found there shocked everyone. Daily use products packed in Urdu were also found in it. Not only this, Spanish oil and medicines to increase physical strength, along with foreign detergents, perfumes, food items were also found from Dubai.

The entire operation was run by CCTV

A secret control room was found inside the kothi, from which the CCTV cameras of the entire house were monitored. Baba’s bedroom was also an operation room in a way, where every person going inside was recorded. ATS has also recovered some sensitive documents from his room.

The network’s wires extend to Mumbai and Dubai

According to sources, Changur Baba’s network is spread to Maharashtra and Dubai. Naveen Vohra and Neetu Rohra alias Nasreen were his first victims, through whom he laid the foundation of this network of conversion. ATS suspects that Changur Baba’s closest associate Mohammad Ahmed Khan has been the main mastermind of his financial dealings.

Let us tell you that Changur Baba was arrested by ATS along with his associate Neetu alias Nasreen last Saturday. Both are residents of Madhpur in Balrampur. A non-bailable warrant was already issued against Changur Baba and a reward of Rs 50,000 was announced on him. After being produced in the court, both were sent to Lucknow District Jail on remand. Earlier, in the same case, two more accused Jamaluddin and Jalaluddin’s son Mehboob were arrested on April 8. Both are residents of Balrampur and are currently lodged in Lucknow District Jail.
