Gurugram: In the Radhika murder case, Gurugram police presented the accused father Deepak Yadav in the court. From where the honorable court sent Deepak Yadav to 14 days judicial custody. According to the information, on Saturday the police presented the accused Deepak Yadav in the honorable court but did not demand remand.
However, later Deepak Yadav was sent to Bhondsi jail in judicial custody for 14 days. At the same time, a new twist has come in this case due to the claim of the police. Because Gurugram police told a news agency on Saturday that former state level tennis player Radhika Yadav did not have her own academy and she used to train players by booking tennis courts at different places. To which her father objected.
On Thursday, 25-year-old Radhika Yadav was allegedly shot dead by her father Deepak Yadav (49) at close range in their two-storey house in Sushant Lok area of Sector 57 in Gurugram. Earlier, the police had said that Radhika used to run a tennis academy, which had become a bone of contention between the two as Deepak was often taunted for being dependent on his daughter’s earnings. The accused, who was financially well off and received good rental income from various properties, was not dependent on his daughter’s earnings. He was depressed for the past few weeks due to the taunts.
An investigating officer said on Saturday, “Radhika did not have any academy of her own. She used to train new players by booking tennis courts at different places. Deepak had asked her several times to stop the training sessions, but she refused. This was the main tiff between the father and daughter.”
During the remand, the police recovered five bullets and a live cartridge from his Sector 57 residence. Deepak was also taken to a village in Pataudi for investigation. According to a close relative, Deepak had supported Radhika in her tennis career since childhood. He said that Deepak had asked his daughter several times to stop training, but she refused.
