Rewa: During the 1947 India-Pakistan partition, most of the Muslims went to Pakistan, but those who stayed in India are now causing trouble here. This controversial statement of BJP MP Janardan Mishra is going viral on social media.
In the video, the MP described the Muslims of India as pawns of Congress politics and said that the Muslims who did not leave India are now staying here and are ‘chhati me mek thok rahe’, i.e. ‘putting a stick in the chest’.
He claimed that where Hindus were in majority, they have now become a minority there. Another controversial video of BJP MP Janardan Mishra, who is often in the headlines for his statements, is going viral.
In the local Bagheli dialect, Mishra said that some people who went with those demanding Pakistan at the time of partition were stopped by the Congress for its own benefit. He claimed that in about 150 districts of the country, where earlier Hindus were in majority, now Hindus have become minority due to increase in Muslim population.
