MP receives major gift on Foundation Day, historic agreement signed in presence of CM Mohan Yadav

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh received a major gift on its Foundation Day. A significant agreement for Ujjain Airport was signed today in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, making Ujjain the state’s ninth commercial airport. This development will not only strengthen the state’s air traffic but also provide a new impetus to religious tourism. Millions of pilgrims visiting the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple will now be relieved of the compulsion to land at Indore Airport.

Today, on the occasion of State Foundation Day, the ‘PM Shri Air Tourism Helicopter Service’ was also launched from Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal. The contract for Ujjain Airport was completed during the same event. Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal were also present.

Ujjain, known for the world-famous Simhastha Kumbh and the Mahakaleshwar Temple, will now be connected by direct air connectivity. This is expected to significantly increase tourist arrivals. The Chief Minister said, “We are making every effort to make the state a regional aviation hub. Air traffic will play a key role in promoting tourism.” This airport will further strengthen the state’s air connectivity following the inauguration of Satna and Datia airports.

This agreement is part of the “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh” campaign, which focuses on industry, investment, and employment. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, transparent policies and modern infrastructure are making the state a preferred destination for investors. Addressing the event, Dr. Mohan Yadav said, “Today is a historic day for Madhya Pradesh. Ujjain Airport will provide easy access to millions of pilgrims and tourists. Our government is committed to taking tourism to new heights. This has been made possible under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
