MP Youth Congress election results announced, Yash Ghanghoria appointed new state president

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress election results have been announced. Yash Ghanghoria, son of Jabalpur MLA and former minister Lakhan Ghanghoria, won a landslide victory, securing the position of state president. Yash received a total of 313,730 votes, while Abhishek Parmar of Bhopal secured second place with 238,780 votes. Congress state spokesperson Vivek Tripathi stated that the official announcement is still pending. Only the vote count has been announced. The winning candidate will be interviewed, followed by an official announcement.

The Youth Congress elections in the state were announced on April 18th, following which a membership drive was launched. The entire process was conducted through an online app, where each new member had to register by paying a fee of Rs. 50. A total of 1,537,527 youth filled out membership forms during this campaign, which ran from June 20th to July 19th. Of these, 63,153 youth did not pay the fee, while 1,474,374 youth received membership with the fee.

Dheeraj Singh Parihar received the most votes for the post of General Secretary. There were 182 candidates contesting for the 55 positions of State General Secretary in the Youth Congress. Of these, Dheeraj Singh Parihar secured the top spot with a total of 17,716 votes.
