Collectors, Commissioners, Inspector Generals, and Superintendents of Police (SPs) from across the state participated in the meeting via video conferencing. During this high-level security meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav issued instructions to strengthen security in the state.

In particular, he directed to keep a close watch on suspicious vehicles and suspicious activities, and to prevent the creation of an atmosphere of fear. Gwalior Collector Ruchika Chauhan stated that the Chief Minister held a video conference and the instructions received were clear: “We must not allow any kind of fear to develop, but we must maintain a high level of alertness. We must ensure that suspicious vehicles are parked or stopped somewhere.”

The Chief Minister also called for the activation of several intelligence points. The district’s Smart City Control Command Center has also been duly instructed to monitor suspicious activities. It has also been activated. The Collector stated that all residents of the state have been urged to immediately report any unwanted or suspicious activity they see or suspect.

Meanwhile, Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra stated that following the Delhi bombings, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a meeting with top officials of the Madhya Pradesh government. The Chief Minister issued security-related instructions to MP police officers via video conferencing. Police Commissioner Harinarayan stated that Bhopal Police is monitoring all sensitive areas and is also closely monitoring social media. Vehicles coming from outside are being primarily focused on checking operations. Emphasis will be placed on tenant verification. Following the DGP’s late-night conference, all officers are on active duty.
