Big Reshuffle in MP BJP Organisation? Core Group Set for Reconstitution, Leaders Told to Rein in Infighting

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh BJP has begun efforts to strengthen and streamline its organisational structure amid heightened political activity in the state. Following a key organisational meeting in Bhopal, BJP state in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb announced that the party’s Core Group would be reconstituted and expanded to ensure smoother functioning.

The marathon meeting was attended by state in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb, co-in-charge Rekha Verma and state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal, among other senior leaders. Several organisational issues and preparations for upcoming political challenges were discussed.

‘Zero Tolerance’ on Indiscipline and Internal Discord

A major focus of the meeting was the need to prevent internal differences, factionalism and indiscipline from affecting the organisation.

Senior leaders stressed that internal disputes should not spill into the public domain. The party also reiterated its opposition to dynastic politics within the organisation, with leaders being advised to put organisational interests above individual or family ambitions.

The leadership made it clear that public statements that could create controversy or damage the party’s image should be avoided.

Leaders Told to Use Measured Language

Party leaders were reportedly advised to exercise restraint while making public statements and avoid controversial remarks.

Instead of criticising fellow party leaders or the organisation publicly, leaders were asked to maintain unity and focus their attacks on the opposition’s political allegations.

The central message from the meeting was that no individual leader is bigger than the party or the organisation. Leaders were also urged to put aside personal ambitions and give greater importance to party workers.

Booth Management Gets Major Focus

Strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level emerged as another key priority.

The BJP leadership has decided to put greater emphasis on booth management, describing the booth-level organisation as crucial to meeting upcoming political challenges.

Plans are being discussed to increase regular activities at the booth level and strengthen the party’s cadre network. The objective is to make the grassroots organisation more active, disciplined and effective.

With the proposed restructuring of the Core Group and the renewed emphasis on discipline, unity and booth management, the latest organisational meeting signals a focus on strengthening the BJP’s internal structure in Madhya Pradesh.
