Indore. In the terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Kashmir, terrorists killed 26 non-Muslim people by asking about their religion. There was a lot of anger across the country against this incident and protests were also held against it. At the same time, people of Hindu organizations like Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad are now advising to do business after asking about religion by putting up objectionable posters in protest against this attack.
Some such posters have been seen in Indore city, the economic capital of Madhya Pradesh. In which it is written, ‘If you can be shot after asking about religion, then you will have to do business after asking religion. For the safe future of your children… now you will have to ask the name. Get into the habit of asking the name…’. Such posters have been put up by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal Indore department. The map of Jammu and Kashmir is also visible in this poster, inside which the body of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, and his wife Himanshi sitting next to him are visible.
Even though only a few such posters have been put up in the city, their pictures are being shared by people on social media and people are being asked to join this campaign.
Protests and posters have been seen in many areas of Indore regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. Last week, a poster was put up in the Chhappan Dukan area of the city, which read ‘No entry to pigs and Pakistani citizens’. In this poster, a pig was shown as a general of the Pakistani army. It also read, ‘Pigs and Pakistani citizens are not allowed’.
Just two days ago, while burning the effigy of Pakistan in protest against this terrorist attack, there was a controversy over someone shouting the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad in the crowd, after which the MLA of Indore lodged a complaint in Sadar Bazar police station late at night and demanded action against the people who shouted slogans. Apart from this, the painters’ organization of Indore also protested by writing Pakistan Murdabad on the streets of the city with the Pakistani flag.
