
Prayagraj: Yogi Adityanath government will hold a special cabinet meeting in Mahakumbh on Wednesday. According to the official statement, all 54 ministers of the UP cabinet have been invited to the meeting, in which many important proposals and schemes for the state are expected to be approved. The statement said that after the meeting, Chief Minister Adityanath will take a holy dip in Sangam along with his cabinet colleagues.
Officials said that the cabinet meeting will be held at 12 noon at Triveni Sankul in Arail. Earlier this meeting was to be held in the Mela Pradhikaran Auditorium, but the meeting venue was changed due to concerns about disruption of movement of pilgrims due to VIP security. After the meeting, the entire cabinet will go to Sangam by motorboat from Arail VIP Ghat.
At Sangam, CM Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and other cabinet members will perform rituals and take a holy dip. This is not the first time that CM Yogi Adityanath has visited Sangam with his cabinet. During the Kumbh Mela in 2019, he took a ceremonial dip along with his ministers and other saints.
10 proposals will be discussed in the cabinet meeting of the Yogi government at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh:-
- Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department – Uttar Pradesh Aerospace and Defense Unit and Employment Promotion Policy-2024
- Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department 2- Regarding obtaining approval on the recommendation-decision made in the concluded meeting of the Empowered Committee regarding the approval of payment of subsidy amount payable to the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority for the land allotted to M/s Ashok Leyland Limited under the Front End Land Subsidy provision allowed in the Foreign Direct Investment and Investment Promotion Policy 2023 for Fortune 500 Companies.
- Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department- Regarding approval of the recommendations made in the meeting held on 16 August, 2024 and 15 September, 2024 by the high level authorized committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh by the Government Order regarding allowing special facilities and concessions for mega category industrial units in the state under UP Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy-2022.
- Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department- Regarding the final bid record under the scheme for distribution of free smartphones under Swami Vivekananda Yuva Empowerment Scheme.
- Housing and Urban Planning Department- Regarding grant of ex-gratia amount by Agra Development Authority in relation to acquisition of 442.4412 hectares of land of village Rahankalan and Raipur for the new residential project proposed by Agra Development Authority and amendment in the notification of Industrial Development Department dated 30.12.2015.
- Home Department- Regarding the establishment of Prosecution Directorate under Section 20 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023) in Uttar Pradesh.
- Medical Education Department- Regarding the transfer of 166 bedded Government Combined Hospital, Balrampur to the Medical Education Department free of cost for the establishment of Autonomous State Medical College, Balrampur and converting the satellite center of King George Medical University being established in Balrampur district into Autonomous State Medical College, Balrampur.
- Medical Education Department- Regarding the selection of successful bidder for running medical colleges on Public Private Partnership mode under the Viability Gap Funding of the Government of India in the unserved districts of Hathras, Baghpat and Kasganj of the state.
- Urban Development and Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation- Regarding obtaining approval for issuing Municipal Bonds for Nagar Nigam, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Agra and providing funds for Credit Rating Enhancement from Infrastructure Development Fund.
- Vocational Education and Skill Development Department- Upgradation of 62 Government Industrial Training Institutes of the state and establishment of 5 Centers for Innovation, Invention, Incubation and Training with the help of Tata Technologies Ltd.
