MP: Bomb hoax on train sparks panic, ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ found in toilet…

Bhopal. Following the bomb blasts in Delhi, security agencies across the country are on alert. Meanwhile, a major news has emerged from Narmadapuram district, where a bomb hoax caused panic on a train. Obscene words like “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Bomb Blast,” and “ISIS” were found written in the toilet of the general coach of the Mahanagari Express train. This information created panic among the railway administration and security agencies. Security was subsequently increased at the station and investigations were intensified.

Panic at Itarsi Junction
The incident occurred on Wednesday. As soon as the train reached Itarsi Junction, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), the City Police, the Bomb Squad, and the Dog Squad arrived at the scene. The train was stopped and the coaches were thoroughly searched. During this time, an unattended red suitcase was found in AC coach B-1.

During the investigation, the suitcase was safely opened, and only clothes and the Bhagavad Gita were found. The investigation revealed that it was a passenger’s bag left behind. The passenger has been contacted and is traveling to Itarsi to collect his belongings.

Intent to create fear among the public
GRP outpost in-charge Sanjay Chaukse stated that the words written in the train’s bathroom appear to have been intended to spread rumors and instill fear. After a thorough investigation, the train departed for Pipariya and Varanasi at 12:58 pm, with an eight-minute delay.

Security checks have been increased at railway stations and sensitive locations throughout the district. No suspicious items have been found yet, but security agencies and the railway administration are on high alert following the incident. Security checks have been further tightened across the country.
