MP Horror: Husband Allegedly Murders Wife by Strangulation, Tries to Pass It Off as Suicide; Post-Mortem Exposes Truth

Vidisha: A chilling case of alleged domestic murder has surfaced from Shamshabad in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district, where a man allegedly strangled his wife to death and attempted to portray the incident as a case of suicide. The shocking truth came to light only after the post-mortem examination, leading to the accused husband’s arrest.

The incident occurred on August 1 when police received information that 30-year-old Khushbun Khatoon had died by hanging. Acting on the information, officers reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem, and launched a preliminary investigation.

However, the post-mortem report, received on August 3, revealed that the woman had not died by suicide but had been strangled to death, exposing the alleged murder.

Police subsequently arrested the victim’s husband, Siddiqui, who had reportedly married Khushbun after the death of his first wife. During the initial investigation, police found that frequent domestic disputes may have led to the crime.

The accused is being questioned, and police are continuing their investigation to establish the exact sequence of events and the motive behind the murder.
