CBI should find out how my name came up in Vyapam case, said former Chief Minister Uma Bharti

Bhopal. Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti has demanded a CBI inquiry into her name being dragged into the Vyapam case. She has also raised questions on the role of Madhya Pradesh Police Crime Branch. While talking to journalists in the capital Bhopal, Uma Bharti said, ‘CBI should at least investigate how my name came up. I have not been able to understand till date how my name came up.’

She further said that I myself want CBI to investigate the fact that how my name came up. I have full faith in the honesty of CBI but how the Crime Branch of Madhya Pradesh Police did this is a big question in itself.’

Uma Bharti said, ‘Were many names left out in the name of my name? It is very important to know why my name was brought forward. I was most saddened by my mother’s death and after that I was most pained when my name appeared in the Vyapam scam. At that time tears came to my eyes.
