Jagdeep Dhankhar left the post before anything big happened!

New Delhi. Jagdeep Dhankhar started packing immediately after resigning from the post of Vice President. Now there are reports that the issue of his sudden resignation has gone into cold storage even in political corridors. On the one hand, the government is not giving much reaction on this issue. At the same time, the opposition also seems to be giving up the discussion on the issue of resignation amid protests at Bihar SIR and sloganeering in the House. However, Dhankhar has not appeared in front of the media since the resignation.

What is the situation now
Here, the government has intensified the search for the new Vice President candidate. It is believed that the name can be announced after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns from his foreign trip. Government officials are looking for a Type 8 bungalow for Dhankhar. It is believed that his sudden resignation indicates that he had no other option left, because the government was preparing to bring a no-confidence motion the very next day after accepting the opposition’s motion against Justice Yashwant Verma.

If this had happened, the no-confidence motion against Dhankhar would have been passed easily, because the NDA has the necessary numbers. According to a report, sources say that a message was conveyed to Dhankhar on Monday through an official of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat that ‘quit immediately or face a no-confidence motion the very next day.’ Instead of challenging this, Dhankhar reached Rashtrapati Bhavan and submitted his resignation.

According to the report, after accepting the opposition’s letter against Justice Verma, senior officials of the government were not able to contact Dhankhar, due to which he distanced himself from the BAC i.e. Business Advisory Meeting held on Monday evening.

Who will be the candidate from the opposition?
Sources say that the opposition INDIA alliance can field a joint candidate in the election of the Vice President, however, the final decision on this will be taken only after consultation with all the constituent parties. A senior leader of the opposition alliance said, “There is a feeling about the vice-presidential election that a candidate should be fielded, no matter what the results are, because doing so will send a political message.”

Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President on Monday evening citing health reasons, although there is constant speculation about the reasons behind his resignation.
