Gaya: After getting the approval of the Bihar Cabinet, Revenue Maha Abhiyan is being run in the entire state to end the mess in land papers and to update the Jamabandi from time to time. Under which a copy of the Jamabandi register is being distributed to all the land owners. Under this Revenue Maha Abhiyan, the first camp has been organized by the district administration in Bajitpur of Belaganj block of Gaya district on Sunday.

In the organized camp, hundreds of villagers of the block came to get the Jamabandi register of their respective lands. Many villagers have also come to get the wrong information of the land corrected in the Jamabandi register received from the district administration. At the same time, they are filling the Jamabandi correction form and giving it to the officer present in the camp. Many villagers who came to the Revenue Maha Abhiyan camp in the village were seen sitting on a platform and searching for the Jamabandi register of their land. The villagers are happy with this campaign, because they hope that this will end the land dispute in the village.

Villager Avneet Kumar Mishra, who came to the Revenue Maha Abhiyan, said that by organizing camps like this, common people will benefit a lot. The land of our people which is still in the name of grandfather, will be in the name of the new generation through this jamabandi. Also, by going online, all of us villagers will get a lot of convenience. This will also make it easier to sell and buy land. This campaign of the Bihar government is very commendable.

At the camp organized under this Revenue Maha Abhiyan, Belagnj Zone Officer Gajendra Kumar said that a campaign has been run by the Land Reforms Department under the Revenue Maha Abhiyan. In which the land is also jamabandi online. It is being printed and distributed among the villagers. The raiyat whose jamabandi is, is being distributed according to the mauza. The total jamabandi in the entire Belagnj block is 54 771. We have distributed 26720 jamabandi. Those who feel that there is some kind of error in their jamabandi, they can come and give the details. Their jamabandi will be corrected by the department.
