Hyderabad to have a street named after Donald Trump; state government makes the decision, here’s the full story

New Delhi. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to make some changes in the capital city of Hyderabad. He has announced that a road near the American Consulate in the city will be named Donald Trump Avenue. Additionally, another road will be named after the late Ratan Tata, a legendary Indian industrialist. According to the state government, this decision has not yet been officially communicated. The Ministry of External Affairs and the US Embassy will be informed about it soon through a formal letter.

The state government’s press release also announced several other changes. To honor the contributions of Google and Google Maps, a prominent road in Hyderabad’s Financial District will be named Google Street. This road will be near Google’s upcoming campus, which is set to become the company’s largest headquarters outside of the United States.

Furthermore, leading IT companies Wipro and Microsoft will also be given recognition in the city’s geographical landscape. According to the press release, Wipro Junction and Microsoft Road will be established in the city.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had announced the initiation of this project earlier this year. While speaking at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum in Delhi, he had proposed naming major roads in Hyderabad after global companies. This unique initiative by the state government could attract the attention of global companies.
