Kabul. The Ministry of Defense of the Afghan Taliban, which is in power in Afghanistan, has claimed that it has carried out successful airstrikes on several key military bases in Pakistan. According to the ministry, this action was taken in response to recent airstrikes by Pakistan in Afghan territory.

The Taliban Defense Ministry issued a statement saying that its air force targeted the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, the 12th Corps in Quetta, the Mohammad Agency area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the Ghalani military base.


  • Pakistan attacks Kabul and Bagram airbases
    The statement said that these targets were targeted with precise and coordinated airstrikes, causing extensive damage. According to the ministry, these attacks were carried out in response to the Pakistani military’s airstrikes last night and today in Kabul, Bagram Airbase, and several other areas.

    The Taliban stated in a statement that if Pakistan violates their airspace again or engages in any aggressive action, they will face strong and retaliatory action. Currently, there has been no official response from Pakistan to these claims, and tensions are feared to escalate in the region.

    Pakistani Jets Enter Afghan Airspace
    According to an Al-Jazeera report, loud explosions were heard in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The Taliban government claims its forces fired on Pakistani aircraft. The ongoing conflict between the two countries has entered its fourth consecutive day. According to the Taliban, Pakistani jets entered Afghan airspace on Sunday morning, prompting the deployment of anti-aircraft and missile defense systems and retaliatory action.

    The Taliban also claimed that Pakistani jets attempted to target Bagram Airbase, but the attack was thwarted. Bagram is the same former US military base in which Donald Trump had expressed renewed interest last year.
