MP: Police team attacked while trying to apprehend accused, constable injured in firing

Gwalior: A Gwalior police team, which had gone to apprehend a murder suspect in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, was attacked. Firing also took place, injuring a constable. The incident occurred in Janakpur village.

The Maharajpura police station in Gwalior received information that the accused in the attempted murder case was in Janakpur village, Morena. Upon receiving the information, the team arrived to conduct a raid. However, some people attacked the team and opened fire. Constable Anil Singh Tomar was injured by the bullets and has been admitted to a private hospital in Gwalior. The policeman is currently out of danger.
