Owaisi was addressing a public meeting to oppose the Waqf (Amendment) Act in Parbhani, Maharashtra on 27 April. During this, he made a sharp comment on Pakistan’s attitude. Rejecting the threats of nuclear attack by Pakistani leaders, Owaisi said that Pakistan always talks about being a nuclear power. They should remember that if they enter a country and kill innocent people, that country will not sit quiet. No matter which government is there.

Owaisi further said that by killing our people on our land and targeting them on the basis of religion, which ‘Deen’ (religion) are you talking about? You have acted like ISIS.

Owaisi said that it was a Kashmiri who gave his life fighting terrorists. It was a Kashmiri who carried an injured child on his back and walked for 40 minutes to save his life.

In the end, Owaisi appealed to actively participate in the protest programs announced by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) against the Waqf (Amendment) Act. He urged people to join the ‘Batti Bandh’ campaign on April 30 and register their solidarity.
