
Ghaziabad. A truck loaded with gas cylinders caught fire near Bhopura Chowk in Loni in Ghaziabad. The fire was so horrific that the cylinders started exploding with blasts one after the other, the echo of which was heard for several kilometers. As soon as the information was received, fire department teams reached the spot. Due to the continuous explosions, there is difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
According to the agency, this incident took place in Tila Mod police station area on Delhi-Wazirabad Road near Bhopura Chowk. A huge fire broke out in the truck here. A large number of gas cylinders were filled in the truck. The fire took a horrific form in no time and the cylinders started exploding. The sound of the explosions was heard several kilometers away. This accident caused panic in the area and the local people were terrified.
According to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rahul Kumar, after receiving information about the incident, several fire engines reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. He said that due to the continuous explosions, there was difficulty in extinguishing the fire. There was a danger for the firefighters to go near the truck, due to which it is difficult to control the fire.
The cause of the fire in the truck is not yet clear. The situation will be clear only after investigation in this regard. Police and administrative officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation of the incident. Efforts are being made to control the fire.
There is panic among the local people due to the incident. The fire was so fierce that its flames were visible from a distance. The fire department officials are keeping a close watch on the situation and are trying to control the fire. There is no report of any casualty in the incident so far. The administration has appealed to the people to stay away from the spot.
