Iran’s attack destroyed the communication center of the US airbase in Qatar

Washington: The geodesic dome at the US airbase in Qatar was damaged in Iran’s attack last month. This geodesic dome was being used by the US Air Force for secure communication. This has been revealed by satellite pictures. However, the US or Qatar government has not given any statement regarding this. The US targeted three nuclear bases of Iran with bunker buster bombs last month. In response, Iran attacked the US Air Force base in Qatar. However, after that a peace agreement was reached between the two countries.

Iran targeted the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on June 23. The US airbase suffered minor damage in Iran’s attack. The reason for this was that the US had shifted its fighter planes to the army’s Central Command Headquarters before the attack. US President Trump also said that Iran had already indicated before the attack where the attack was going to take place, which gave the US a chance to take steps in its defense. Satellite images from Planet Labs showed that the Iranian attack damaged a geodesic dome at a US airbase. The geodesic dome was used by the US military for secure communications.
