New Delhi: The country’s youngest female MP Priya Saroj and Indian cricketer Rinku Singh are not engaged. Priya Saroj’s father Toofani Saroj said that both Rinku and Priya are not at home. In such a situation, there is no question of engagement. However, he told that talks are going on regarding the marriage of both.
Priya’s family members went to Rinku’s house, but both are not engaged. Priya Saroj is in Thiruvananthapuram with a team of MPs. At the same time, Rinku Singh is busy preparing for the T20 series against England. Toofani Saroj said that it is a matter of girl’s marriage. Therefore, a decision has to be taken after careful consideration. However, he definitely confirmed that talks are going on regarding the marriage of Rinku and Saroj.
Priya Saroj is an MP from Machhali Shahar seat. She is the daughter of Samajwadi Party leader and three-time MP Toofani Saroj. Toofani Saroj became MP from Saidpur in 1999, Ghazipur in 2004 and Machhali Shahar in 2009. However, he faced defeat in 2016. Priya Saroj has been a lawyer in the Supreme Court in Delhi. She studied from Delhi University. At the age of 25, she contested the first election on a Samajwadi Party ticket and reached Parliament by defeating BP Saroj of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Unlike Priya, Rinku Singh’s journey was full of difficulties. He was born in a very poor family and his dream of becoming a cricketer came true with great difficulty. Rinku’s father used to deliver gas cylinders to houses. Rinku was also offered the job of mopping. However, on the basis of his talent, Rinku made a place in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders and came into the limelight by hitting five sixes in an over. Since then, he has played many important innings for the Indian team and has cemented his place in the team as a finisher. Rinku has also been given a place in the Indian team for the India-England T20 series starting on 22 January.
