New Delhi: A significant telephone conversation took place between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Discussions during the call covered the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the US-Iran dispute.

According to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov, the two leaders discussed ways to end the Ukraine war. Ushakov stated that President Trump told Putin it is crucial to end the ongoing war in Ukraine and expressed his readiness to help resolve the conflict.

Trump also informed Putin that a deal with Iran is nearly finalized. Putin expressed satisfaction at the prospect of the confrontation between the US and Iran coming to an end. Meanwhile, reports suggest that US envoys Witkoff and Kushner may soon visit Russia.

Putin extends birthday wishes
