New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora in The Hague, Netherlands. During this address, he also issued a warning to the world regarding the future. PM Modi stated that first came COVID, then wars broke out, and now we face the current energy crisis. This decade is turning into a decade of disasters for the world. If these circumstances are not altered rapidly, the achievements of the past several decades will be undone. A vast segment of the global population could once again be dragged back into the quagmire of poverty.
PM Modi noted that amidst such global circumstances—at a time when the world is discussing the need for resilient supply chains—India and the Netherlands are working together to build a supply chain that is reliable, transparent, and future-ready. PM Modi emphasized that India is currently undergoing rapid transformation. The dreams and aspirations of the Indian people have grown significantly; consequently, the nation itself is advancing at a brisk pace. Modi added that this very mindset is further strengthening India’s democracy.
