New Delhi: All cricket fans are currently waiting for the Champions Trophy. After this, the world’s most popular cricket league ‘Indian Premier League’ (IPL) will start. The next season of IPL is going to start from March. Earlier, the fans of this league have got a big shock. Till now fans used to enjoy IPL matches live on Jio Cinema. But this will not happen from this season.
Actually Jio Cinema and Disney + Hotstar have been merged and after this JioHotstar has been launched. Live streaming of IPL matches will be on this but now users will have to loosen their pockets to watch the match here.
Recently Disney + Hotstar and Jio Cinema were merged. JioHotstar app has been introduced on Friday by combining the names of both. It is owned by Ambani Group. On this, fans will be able to watch the first few minutes of IPL live. They will have to buy a subscription plan to watch the entire match. The initial subscription plan costs Rs 149. There is a plan of Rs 299 in which users will get more facilities and benefits. After this, in the plan of Rs 499, users will get to watch the match without advertisements. All these three plans will be valid for three months.
IPL 2025 started in the year 2008. So far 17 seasons have been held. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have won the title five times each. The next season of IPL will start from March 21. The first match can be played between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
BCCI has not announced the schedule of the next season of the Indian Premier League. However, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla had recently given information about its starting date. At the same time, big information was also revealed about the play-offs including the final. The final match will be played on 25 May at Eden Gardens itself. While two playoff matches are expected to be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
