IPL 2025: Punjab Kings reach final after defeating Mumbai, captain Shreyas Iyer played a stormy innings

Ahmedabad. In the Qualifier 2 match of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets and confirmed their ticket to the final. Now on June 3, Punjab Kings will face RCB in the final. This will be a memorable moment for both the teams as both the teams will be in the field to win their first title. Talking about this match, this match was played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After winning the toss in this match, Punjab decided to bowl first. However, due to rain, the match started with a delay of about two hours but not a single over has been cut. Batting first, Mumbai had set a target of 204 runs in front of Punjab on the basis of brilliant innings of Surya and Tilak and fiery batting of Naman Dheer. In response to which Punjab Kings won the match by 5 wickets in the 19th over itself.

Chasing the target, Punjab Kings had a bad start and lost the wicket of ‘Impact Sub’ Prabhsimran Singh cheaply. Prabhsimran was dismissed by Trent Boult after scoring 6 runs.
